Doris B. Warner, age 84 of Hastings died October 13, 2011 at her home.

Doris was born November 30, 1926 in Lake City, MN to George and Ila (Bien) Mountin. She married George E. Warner on September 7, 1946 at Guardian Angels Church in Hastings and had worked as an administrative assistant at 3-M prior to her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading and especially loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband George.

Doris is survived by her son Michael (Susan) Warner of Eagan; granddaughter Kristin (John) Hinderscheid of Hastings; former daughter-in-law and good friend Mariann Warner of Hastings; also 4 great-grandsons Kalvin, Carter, Connor, and Kale; sister Jean Kummer of Hastings and brother George (Janet) Mountin of Crystal, MN.

The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 10:30AM Monday, October 17, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held from 4-7pm Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service at church. The pallbearers are John Hinderscheid, Tom Kummer, Jeff Kummer, Steve Mountin, Chris Mountin, George Mountin Jr.; honorary pallbearers are Tony Dachel and Randy Gabrelcik. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor's choice in Doris' name.
