Mary May (Robbins) Franklin, 90, of Battle Creek, died Friday, May 9, 2003, at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. She was born October 25, 1912, in Auburn, Indiana, the daughter of Clifford and Ada (Farver) Robbins. She married Earl M. Franklin, March 3, 1945, in Augusta, he died January 16, 1985.
Mary was employed by Tom Giddings at Colony Motel and Apartments in the Housekeeping Department and later worked for Riverside Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include her son, Glenn E. Robbins of Battle Creek, daughters, Sue (Jim) Vaxter of Ceresco, Esther L. (Tom) Whitley of Marshall, three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lester G. Robbins.
She was active with her husband in the former Cereal City Radio Club.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and working crossword puzzles.
Visitation at the Richard Henry Funeral Home, Monday, after 10:00 A.M., where the family will be present from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Services, 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Roberts officiating.
Burial in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials to Patients Activity Fund at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility.
