Mrs. Hogue, 87, formerly of Medford, died Saturday (Feb. 14, 1998) of cancer at her daughter's Klamath Falls home.

She was born Loretta Elizabeth Artmier on Sept. 26, 1910, in Greensburg, Indiana.
In 1933, near McCloud, California, she married Robert Valentine Hogue, who died in November of 1995. They lived in Medford for more than 30 years, moving to Klamath Falls in 1994.
A member of Nevita Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Central Point, was a past worthy matron of the chapter and royal matron of Roxy Ann Court, Order of the Amaranth, Medford. While in Alturas, California, she was deputy grand matron of OES.
She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. [Hogue], Klamath Falls; two daughters, Mary [Hogue] Blodgett, Klamath Falls, and Shirley ([Hogue]) Wion, Burns; a sister, Mildred [Artmier] Marion, in Indiana; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Chapel.
