James Elmer Tuley, son of J. Elmer Tuley and Isabel Gibson Tuley, was born January 9, 1939 at LaGrange, Mo., and passed away at St. Louis Children hospital July 13 at the age of 11 years, 6 months and 4 days. He had attended Canton Public school since 1945. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Surviving are his mother, one sister, Mrs. Clarita White of Canton; two brothers, William and Robert of the home and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, July 15, at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Canton by Rev. Michael O'Rourke. Music was furnished by the church choir. Pallbearers were Ernest Gibson, J. W. Gibson, Edwin Raleigh, Leonard Smith, Gerald Smith and Jack Richards. Flower girls were Judy Blackmore, Bernadine Klusmeier, Sondra Watson, Mrs. Joe Neeves, Mrs. Robert Little, and Mrs. Jack Rickards. Interment was in Queen of Peace cemetery, Ewing.
