Shelby Joyce Bible, age 72, of Sun Valley Village, passed away Wednesday morning (October 12, 2011) at her home.

She was the widow of Bobby Bible, Sr. and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include one daughter: Janet Graham Smith; grandchildren: B. J. Smith, Nikki Starnes, Jennifer Simmons, and Keith Smith; one brother and sister-in-law: Otis and Gail Hensley; one sister and brother-in-law: Doris and Leonard Smith; several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; special family friends: Bill Smith, Devin Barner, and Miranda Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Reaves and Anna Jackson Hensley; brothers: Denzil, Eugene, Junior, and Wallace Hensley; sisters: Jewell and Lorene Hensley, Nadine Greene, and Shirley McConnell; first husband: Everette Graham; special friend: Lois Fox.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p .m. on Saturday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. J.B. Hughes and the Rev. Doug Jennings will officiate. Interment will be in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery at a later date.
