A graveside service will be at noon Saturday, March 12, 2005, in River View Cemetery for Flossie Hildred "Peggy" Herbig, who died Feb. 25 at age 101.
Flossie Hildred Bailes was born May 10, 1903, in Elizabeth, W.Va. She moved to Portland, where she was a homemaker. Her husband Otis K. died earlier.
Survivors include her six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Her sons Max and John and daughter Alice Shelton died earlier.
