Gerald Leon Barry Sr., 68, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Thursday July 24, 2008 at home. He was born May 22, 1940 in Scottown, Ohio, son of the late Douglas G. and Frieda Earls Barry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents Cecil and Martha Earls.
He was a retired carpenter and later a retired school bus driver from Symmes Valley Schools.
He is survived by
his wife Lorraine Barry;
one son Gerald Leon Barry Jr. of Chesapeake;
one daughter Carolyn Sue Black (Bobby) of Proctorville; three grandchildren Amy Ticknor, Larry Ticknor Jr., and Bobby Black Jr.;
one great grandson Izaiah Ticknor;
one sister Jenny Arsnick (Steve) of Coal Mountain, WV.
Funeral service was conducted at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Cleo Watson. Burial was in Locust Grove Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio.
