Thornburg lumberman
dies; services Tuesday

THORNBURG - Emil Dahlstrom, age 70, owner and operator of the lumberyard at Thornburg for many years, died at his home in Thornburg Saturday, Dec. 3. He was born in Michigan Oct. (sic)* 13, 1890, the son of Andrew and Anna Louise Dahlstrom.

Surviving are: the wife, Mrs. Icie Dahlstrom; two sons, Melvin Dahlstrom of Thornburg and Kenneth Dahlstrom of Jefferson City, Mo.; six sisters, Mrs. Edith Shepherd of Oskaloosa; mrs. Roy Reinert of Delta, Mrs. Faye Moffat of Fremont, Mrs. David Moore of Hedrick, Mrs. A. B. Fairfield and Mrs. H. L. Grady and a brother, Eric Dahlstrom.

Services will be at the Whyle funeral chapel in What Cheer at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, with burial at Sixteen cemetery. Rev. W. T. McLaughlin of Keswick Methodist church will officiate.

Masonic graveside rites will be under the supervisioin of Universe lodge, AF and AM, No. 212.
