Mr. Bart was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was a quality control supervisor with Carrier Corp.
Mr. Bart was a communicant of St. Ann's Church. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joan List; a son, Stephen of Syracuse; two daughters, Sharon Farr of Syracuse and Suzanne Kors of Rochester; his parents, Leon and Stephanie Bartkowiak of Syracuse; three brothers, Paul of Meridian, Peter of Denville, N.J., and Carl Bartkowiak of Fayetteville; a sister, Margaret Wille of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to St. Ann's School Scholarship Fund.
