OBITUARY:
Robert Clarence Heath, age 91 passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2011 with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 13, 1920; the son of Sidney Joseph Heath and Margaret Virginia Allbright.

Robert served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He entered the Navy in 1939, trained in Norfolk, VA; served in AP, awarded GCM, AD, AT, AP and Victory Ribbons. He retired from the United States Navy in 1968.

He is preceded in death by one son, William Warren Heath and one full brother Fred Hubert Heath.

Robert leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Betty G. (Woodard) Heath; one son, Gary E. (Janet) Heath of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Houston Co., Texas.
