(Woodbury town records, Vol. 20, p. 23;—1768.) He was one of the 78 householders of Woodbury to whom a division of the meadow land on the Shepaug river was made in 1702. In 1710 he married Sarah Wheeler Blakesley (1692-1750) and they had eight children.
