Someone had reported that this Catherine's maiden name was McBride. But I believe it was Dresbach and she was the daughter of Jacob Dreisbach and his wife, Magdalena Buchs of Union Co., PA, and Pickaway Co., OH. Further investigation is underway.
Leonard and Catherine (Dresbach) Wolfe settled in Salt Creek Twp., Pickaway Co. in 1813. They made several other purchases through the years in Pickaway Co., & appear in census there. One sale is to Benjamin Schoch, their son in law in 1822, and one is to Jonathan Dresbach, her brother, in 1833. In the 1850 census they are in Clear Creek, Fairfield Co., 2 households from her brother, Jonathan, but I haven't found a land purchase in Fairfield for them. Their sons, David and Daniel Wolf moved on to Allen Co., OH, and in the 1860 census Leonard and Catherine are living next door to David Wolf.
