Bud worked for Standard Oil Company from 1942 until his retirement in 1957. The Lorsbachs moved to East Alton, Madison County, Illinois in 1943 and still lived there when he died in 1963.
At the time of her death, Margaret was 73 years and 8 months old. She was buried next to her son, Thomas, who passed away in 1974.
