Norris A. Stewart was born on August 10, 1886, to Doctor Green Stewart and Martha Ellen Horn Stewart. Norris was a farmer in south Texas. He married Ida Ramsey, and they were the parents of Earlene S. Stewart Kahanek (born 3 October 1913, died 7 February 2002), Doc Ramsey Stewart (born 24 March 1916, marriage 30 April 1955 to Drusilla Mae Mayers), Rose Neal Stewart Lyle (born 6 July 1918, died 4 February 2007), Pat Rogers Stewart (born 31 January 1920 in Mineral, Texas; died 6 July 1997), Winston (Mac) Jones Stewart (born 29 July 1924 in Winters, Texas), Norma Nell (Nellie) Stewart Roy (born 13 September 1925), and Bonnie Beth Stewart (born 17 October, 1927; unmarried; died 11 March 1999). Norris died on January 5, 1970.
