Wilbur Vaughn, seven miles northwest of Fulton, was carrying with him one of the smallest terapins we have ever seen. It was found in a pasture south of Fulton. The small creature had a shell which measured an inch and a quarter in diameter and evidently was hatched last year, since the weather has been unfavorable for hatching so far this spring. Mr. Vaughn had several offers of 25 cents for the terrapin by persons who wanted it as a pet.
