TEDDY EARL PRICE, age 77, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Cynthiana, September 29, 1933 to the late Larkin and Blanche Cummins Price, he was active with the WLJC Christian Television and Radio in Beattyville. Mr. Price retired from the United States Army as a First Class Sargent with over 20 years of service. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Price and three sisters, Edna Jackson, Irene Williams and Violet Whitaker.
He is survived by his wife, Ena K. Price; a son, Brian Price, Cynthiana, two daughters, Tonya Sue (Walter) Custard and Belinda K. (Clarence) Ison, both of Cynthiana; a brother, Melvin Todd Price, Berea; a sister, Rosemary Ritchie, Cynthiana; five grandchildren, Ashley Myers, Garrett Custard, Destiny Rae Custard, Tevin Gilkey and Payton Price and a great grandson, Jackson Cole Myers.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Ware Funeral Home by Rev. James Custard. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to WLJC Christian Television and Radio, 219 Radio Station Loop, Beattyville, Kentucky 41311.
