OTTO W. SEDDELMEYER, 95, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a farmer for over 50 years. He was a member of Lutheran Layman's League. Also worked grounds maintenance for Mutual Security Life for several years, retiring 1980.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Lucinda of New Haven; son, Ralph H. (Ruth) Seddelmeyer of New Haven; grandchildren, Julie (Aaron) Ashabraner of Carmel, Ind., Steven D. Seddelmeyer of New Haven, Jennifer (Eric) Gillingham of Fort Wayne, and Laura Seddelmeyer of Athens, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Julia Seddelmeyer; granddaughter, Kristi; brothers, Paul and Henry Seddelmeyer; and sister, Julia Rohrbach.

Funeral service is 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling two hours prior. The Rev. Matthew Kohl officiating. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be made to Martini Lutheran Church or Central Lutheran School.
