Jaxen Trieste Henderson, 17, of West Jordan, Utah, died in an automobile accident at 4:12 PM on Monday, October 17, 2011.

Our sweet girl, Jaxen, was born on February 25, 1994 in Payson, Utah. She lived in Idaho from November 1994 until August 2008 when she moved with her parents back to Utah.

Jaxen was a senior at Copper Hills High School in West Jordan and worked at Sub Zero ice cream in Jordan Landing.

She is survived by her mother and father, Melody and Derrick Pierce, of West Jordan; grandparents: Gary and Fontella Henderson, of Meridian, ID, Tom and Kathy Pierce, of North Powder, OR, and Shayelynn Dickenson, of LaGrande, OR; great-grandparents: LaFonda Cook, of Payson, Rex and Viona Henderson, of Spanish Fork; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, David Cook, Payson; uncle, Curtis Henderson, Spanish Fork.

There will be a viewing on Friday, October 21 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 22 at the LDS West Jordan Cobble Creek 7th Ward building, 8176 South 5140 West. There will be a viewing at the church from 9:00-10:30 AM, prior to the service.

She will be laid to rest in the Spanish Fork Cemetery following the funeral service.
