She loved her children, her grandchildren and her parakeets, and believed in fairness. Mrs Bricher and her friend Mrs Coonan sponsored the first Jewish woman to the Highland Park (St Paul) Ladies Club. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the woman's name, if I ever knew it.
Our "Grandma B" was much loved.
