Linda passed away on October 16, 2011 in San Diego. Linda was born on July 22, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska. She moved to Southern California at a young age and attended St. John Fisher Elementary School. Linda was a graduate of Rolling Hills High School (Class of 76') and later obtained a bachelor's degree from Long Beach State University. She was a customer service supervisor for K-Line America for many years and always volunteered for her children's schools. Linda's children were always her priority. She valued family most and dedicated her life to her three loving children. She will be remembered as being a wonderful mother and wife, loving daughter, caring sister, great friend and a true miracle. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lenihan. She is survived by her children, Gina (22), Emily (15) and Andrew (13); and husband, Tim Dillon, all of San Juan Capistrano; mother, Shirley Lenihan of Rolling Hills Estates. She was the eldest of 8 children and is survived by her loving siblings, Dr. Michael (Mary) Lenihan of Del Mar, CA, Lori Lenihan (George) Waidlich of Alamo, CA, Karen Lenihan (Joe) Mortori of Irvine, CA, Jim Lenihan of San Anselmo, CA, Jennifer Lenihan (Mike) Hendrex of Hermosa Beach, CA, Joleen Lenihan (John) Compagno of Mill Valley, CA and Kristin Lenihan of San Francisco, CA. She will also dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Shannon, Sara, Mike, Joe, Patrick, and Johnny Lenihan, George, Mari, and Reagan Waidlich, Ryan and Nicole Mortori, Hawke Lenihan, Michael, Joshua, and Matthew Hendrex, Katie and Georgia Compagno. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, October 21, 2011, 3:30 p.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 5446 Crest Rd., Rancho Palos Verdes. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1441 Eastlake Ave., Ste 8302, Los Angeles, CA 90033, or online at https://secure2.convio.net/uscsom/site/Donation2?df_id=1561&1561.donation=form1.
