On August 24, 1990 Larry married Johna Ellis. They later had a beautiful daughter in which they named Kristy Mae.
Larry loved to fish, play guitar, read, and spend time with his family. Above all spending time with his pride and joy, Kristy Mae.
Larry was known to do a beautiful job playing "Stairway to Heaven" on his guitar. He also played many other songs but this one was his favorite.
Larry is survived by his wife, Johna, and daughter. Kristy Mae. Along with his mother, Ruth Ellen Runyon of Vinton, Oh. and his father, Lawthie Ward Sr. of Galliapolis, Oh.
He is also survived by his brother Lawthie Jr.(Kim) Ward of Vinton, Oh., Leland(Cheryl) Ward of Monroe, Mi., and Linda(Heith) Stover of Rio Grande, Oh.
A memorial service was held on September 4, 2003 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska, Mi with a dinner following provided by the Evergreen Baptist Church in Kalkaska, Mi.
