CAMPBELL, Eugene W. "Shorty" Campbell Jr., 89, of Tullahoma, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Eugene W. and Lula West Campbell Sr.. He was retired from York's Supermarket where he was a manager, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma and secretary of the York Sunday School Class for 36 years. He is survived by his wife, Mahala Edwards Campbell, Tullahoma; daughters, Linda McKenzie, Tullahoma, and Melanie Turner, Kingsport; son, Steve (Jenny) Campbell, Franklin; brother, Bobbie Campbell, Fayetteville; sisters, Mary Groce, Lebanon, and Marcelle Talley, Nashville; half-brother, Rufus Campbell, Laceys Spring, Ala.; half-sister, JoAnne Ikard, Toney, Ala.; three grandchildren, six great-grand-children and two great-great grandchildren.Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. today, Oct. 9, at Tullahoma Funeral Home, where funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel with Rev.
