William Fallon was born in Ireland in 1833. When a young man he came to America and made his way west, finally reaching Olmsted county forty-three years ago. Farming was his vocation and he followed it industriously until he felt the hand of sickness upon him. It came in the form of a paralytic stroke, and then a second time. Last Monday he was prostrated by a third stroke, and this resulted in his death on Wednesday, 10:30 o'clock in the night.

The deceased is survived by a wife, two sons, seven daughters, five brothers and four sisters. He was married to Maggie Dorcey twenty-three years ago. Nine children blessed the union and these are William, Harry, Celia, Irene, Nora, Marjorie, Genevieve and Anna, all of Eyota. Mrs. Mary Pierce, another daughter, resides in St. Charles. The brothers are Barney, Garrett, Henry and Mark of Eyota, and Thomas of Canada. Mesdames Coan, Fleming of Eyota, Cunningham of Rochester, and Miss Maria Fallon of Winona, are the sisters.
