He was the son of Hiram Condict/Abigail Beers,of this Condict line: of Nathaniel Condict/Abigail Winds (of General Winds of the Rev. War);of Peter Condict/Phebe Dod/Dodd, of Peter Condict& Mary Harrison (Samuel), of John Condict the ancestor noted on FAG (not spelled Condit or Cundit or Cundict or Cunditt as many from the Condit lines imply).

Although it appears his headstone is misspelled as Condit, his parents and grandparents for 4 generations before him were known in history as Condict. John the ancestor is noted as Condict as far back as 1695, noted so with his land deed in the NJ Archives (Colonial Documents Relating to the Colonial History of the state of New Jersey).
His great, great, great grandfather is noted on this site:
