MARION - Hickory Jackson, 66, died Saturday night at his home near Centenary. Funeral arraignments will be announced by Smith Brothers Funeral Home.
He was a son of the late J. C. and Sarah Merritt Jackson.
Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Swanee Parker; a son, James C. Jackson of the US Army in Germany; step-father, M. B. Baxley; a sister, Katie Spivey of Marion; and seven brothers, Ivey Jackson, King Jackson and George Jackson, all of Marion, Hoyt Jackson and Manley Jackson, both of Mullins, Walter Jackson of Spartanburg and Henry Jackson of Lumberton, NC.
