Services for Pearl Frances Jameson, 97, Girard, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, Pittsburg. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Pittsburg.

Mrs. Jameson died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at Hospital District No. 1, Girard.

She was born Oct. 7, 1902, the daughter of Charles Mason and Virginia Ann (Altis) McFarland in Texas County, Mo. She graduated from Frontenac High School in 1921. She was a homemaker. She moved to Pittsburg in 1998.

Mrs. Jameson was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pittsburg; Martha Circle member; Lincoln Center Senior Citizens Club; U.S. Army Mothers; and former charter member of Lone Star Extension Homemaker Unit. She was also a Precinct Committee Woman for the Republican Party.

She married David Charles Jameson Oct. 10, 1922, in Lamar, Mo. He died Jan. 24, 1974.

A son, Charles M. Jameson, died earlier.

Friskel Funeral Home, Frontenac, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The family suggests memorials in her name to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial fund, and they may be sent in care of the funeral home, 230 E. McKay St., Frontenac 66763.
