Brittany R. Mendenhall, 9, of Hermann, Mo., passed away on Sun., Oct. 16, 2011 at the MU Women & Childrens Hospital, Columbia, Mo.. Miss Mendenhall was born in Columbia, Mo. on Oct. 27, 2001, the daughter of Jesse Mendenhall and Kami (Littrell) Smith of Hermann, Mo. Brittany loved to do puzzles, she loved vanilla shakes, her dog Oreo, horses, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Ellen DeGeneres Show. When the show would come on she would always get up and dance. She had a great sense of humor. Brittany is survived by her parents Jesse Mendenhall of Hermann, Kami Smith of Hermann, two brothers Derek & Kane Mendenhall, a sister Destany Mendenhall, a step brother Justice Smith and a step sister Hailey Keathley all of Hermann, grandparents George & Edna Littrell of Hermann, Jack & Teresa Mendenhall of Berger and great grandmother Shirley Bell. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, George Bell, J.T. and Maudelene Watson and Wilburn & Alpha Littrell and a cousin Michelle Watson. Visitation will be Wed. 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Mo.. Funeral Services will be held Thurs. at 11:00 a.m. from Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Mo., with Rev. Doug Kuebler officiating. Burial will be at Hermann Cemetery, Hermann, Mo..
