NEW FRANKLIN--Lloyd P. Greenlese, "Pinky", 98, passed away March 16, 2006.
He was born Aug. 7, 1907, in Akron. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after 30 years of service as an electrician and telephone technician and worked on one of the first blimps, the Macon. He was a member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed their fish dinners.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Nellie Greenlese; wife, Gertrude; son, Brady George Greenlese; and grandson, Brady Wayne Greenlese. He is survivied by his daughter, Evelyn Montana of South Carolina; grandchildren, James Greenlese, Colleen McIntyre, Richard McIntyre, Randall McIntyre, Toy Lynn Cadien, and many great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and caregivers.
Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, today from 3 to 5 p.m., where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Glenn E. Rogers Jr. officiating.
