Faye Mildred Donelson, formerly of Waterford, died September 21, 2003 at age 98. She was born February 14, 1905 in Detroit, MI; the daughter of the late Mark and Blanche Donelson; aunt of Patricia (Howard) Cate; survived by two grand-nephews and one grand niece; sister of the late Carl W. Donelson, Marian L. Bell, Gilbert Donelson and Roland Donelson. She was a graduate of Pontiac Central (1921), Olivet College (1926) and had a Masters Degree. She was a teacher for 38 years, teaching in Dollar Bay, Pontiac and VanDyke. Faye was instrumental in helping reorganize the Pontiac Library and the restoration of Carriage House at the Moses Wisner Home. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Pontiac-Clarkston, Oakland County Pioneer & Historical Society, Pontiac Genealogical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, Pontiac Business and Professional Women, Tuesday Musicale and many organizations.
