Eleanore was born October 22, 1927 in Petoskey the daughter of Philip John and Gertrude D. (March) Kirwan, she grew up in Petoskey and was a graduate of Petoskey High School. On April 23, 1947 she married Raymond H. Petrowski in Petoskey; Raymond preceded her in death in 1970. Some will remember Eleanore from her years with Northern Michigan Hospital, where she was employed for eighteen years as an Admissions Clerk. Eleanore is survived by her children, John of Petoskey, Christopher (Sandy) of Harbor Springs, Anne (Clarence) LaCross of East Jordan, Fredrick of Pellston, Alice (Chuck) Pemberton of Walloon Lake, Laura (Keith) Campbell of Petoskey. They will forever remember a mother who was supportive, caring and kind and always there for them, whenever they needed her. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one surviving brother, Philip Kirwan of Warren. Including her husband she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Bob and Kenneth Kirwan.
