George Adams
Warner Robins-Services for George E. Adams will be at 2p.m. Saturday in Bonaire First Baptist Church with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Adams, 60, died Thursday, July 13, 2000. He was born in Wrens, son of the late Edward and Nelle Adams. He graduated from the University of Georgia, UGA School of Veterinary Medicine and held a master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina. He was a retired Air Force colonel and chief of environmental health, and practiced veterinary medicine at Perry Animal Hospital and Magnolia Animal Hospital. He was a member of the American Veterinarians Association. He also was formerly active with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Bonaire and was chairman of the property and space committee.
