Kevin moved to Salem, Oregon, with his family, at the age of 6. He attended Hoover Elementery School, Waldo Junior High School, and North Salem High School.
He worked in the forest most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.
Kevin loved animals and had a favorite dog, a shepard mix named Sarah, who died of loneliness shortly after Kevin's death.
Kevin passed away in Salem, Oregon on December 22, 2001 at the age of 39, following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his mother Bernie, two brothers Michael and Dennis, and two sisters Kristen and Keli. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh, who passed away in 1995.
