BAILEY, MAE FRANCES - 91 of Perry, Iowa, formerly of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains. Preceded in death by husband, Sam Bailey; son, Harold Younger. Survived by step daughters, Bertha Workman of Dandridge, Ruby France of Strawberry Plains, Dora Tipton and Mary Ballinger of Knoxville, Betty Phipps of Mississippi; step son, Rev. Ervin Marsh of Morristown; several grandchildren; brother, Paul Gohn of Iowa; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Fielden Chapel with the Rev. Jim Smith officiating.
