Calvin B. Evans, 65 of Rt. 1, Bulls Gap, died Friday, July 12 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Orene Evans; son, Charles Evans, Bulls Gap; daughters, Mrs. Louise Smith, Mosheim, and Sue Paxton, Germany; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, Howard Evans, Russellville, and Joe Evans, Rogersville; and sisters, Mrs. Georgia Gray, Bulls Gap, and Mrs. Edith Murrell W. Lane, Kingsport. Funeral services were held Monday at the Stewart Funeral Home chapel Burial was in Shepherd Cemetery with the Rev. Buddy White and the Rev. Vernon Fielden officiating.
