Ottorino E. "Jack" Boreani, 73, took his last flight into the wild blue yonder on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Golden Years Homestead in New Haven. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Jack worked as a Inspector with Zollner Piston for 37 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of the American Legion Post 47, Knights of Columbus and a Tech Sgt with the Indiana Air National Guard. Surviving are his wife, Sharon (Bobay) Boreani of Fort Wayne; sons, Kregg (Alice) Boreani of Huntingtown, MD, Keith (Jen Scherer) Boreani of Fort Wayne, Steve Boreani of Owings Mills, MD, Michael (Jory) Stiffarm of Fort Wayne; daughters, Brenda (Tim) Brames of Davenport, IA and Tina Lock of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Adrian, Brittni, Kassi, Kaley, Mandy, Kate, Mindy, Maddie, Austin and Serenia; great-grandchildren, Chase, Dylan, Trace and Bella; brothers, Kevin Boreani of Fort Wayne, and Michael (Darlene) Boreani of Dumas, AR; special friends, Richard & Nancy Shull of Fort Wayne. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ottorino and Naomi Boreani; daughter, Bernadette Boreani. Mass of Christian Burial is 10am Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior, Fr. Anthony Steinacker officiating. Calling also Friday from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm with a 4:30pm Vigil at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
