Funeral services for Homer Franklin Benson were held April 19, 1971 in the chapel of McNeece-Morris Funeral Home with burial in the Hillcrest Cemetery with the local Masonic Lodge having charge of the graveside services. Mr. Benson died at his home in the Clay Community on April 17th. He was 67. A retired attorney, he was the son of the late Marcus C. and Daisy Burch Benson of Fulton. His father was one of the area's leading attorneys for many years.
