Marcia Jane Elder
Was born Jan 27, 1835, and died at the home of Fin (Finley) Mains May 17, 1909, aged 74 years.
She was married to A. J. Elder in 1850, who died in 1905. To this union were born seven children, six of whom are living. She has been a faithful member of the Christian church since 1855. The funeral service was held at the residence of Fin Mains, conducted by E. A. Hastings of Floris and interment was in the Breeding cemetery.
