Alford Morgan (Red) Yocom, 52, of 1306 W. Sixth St., died unexpectedly Monday morning in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A resident of Union County most of his life, he had been working in Cedar Rapids approximately four months.

Born July 16, 1920, in Traskwood, Ark., he was the son of Joseph Alford and Edith Clift Yocom.

He was a pipefitter and member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 706, member of the Masonic Lodge No. 13F and AM, and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U. S. Army Engineer Corps.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jackie Summerhill Yocom of El Dorado; a son, Joe Dale Yocom of El Dorado; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. McAdoo of El Dorado; two brothers, Floyd E. McAdoo of El Dorado, and Roland McAdoo of Austin, Tex.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Halbert Jenkins officiating.

The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.

Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Masonic Lodge 13, F and AM.

Active pallbearers will be Ed Barker, Felix Tickering, J. W. Romine, Earl Griffin, Bill Cottrell and Vernon Evans.
