Mrs. Martha Pearce
Havre--Last rites for Mrs. Martha Pearce, 87, will be at 10 a.m. at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Mrs. Pearce died at a local hospital.
Born March 29, 1871, in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Pearce came to Hill County in 1910 with her husband, Thomas, and they homesteaded near Cottonwood. In 1919 they retired and moved to Havre, where Mrs. Pearce has lived since. Mr. Pearce died Feb. 16, 1920.
Survivors include two sons, Lyle of Havre and Elder of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Brown of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Myra Wilkins of Seattle, Wash.; a half-brother, James Washington, Cleveland, Ohio.
