GUNTERSVILLE - John Edward Abernathy, 62, of 604 Snow Point Road, Guntersville, died Wednesday at his home.
Burial was to be in Sweet Home Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Abernathy; two daughters, Deborah Andrville of Guntersville and Rosa Shaver of Union Grove; three sisters, Julia Barnard of Union Grove, Ann Matthews of Shoals Creek and Carolyn Abbott of Bessemer; and six grandchildren.
