The first record we have of Francis is her marriage to George W.L.M. Reeves in Obion County, Tennessee on 22 December 1842. The surety on this marriage was signed by her half brother W. H. House. The family lived on the Shore of Reelfoot Lake where her husband was a ferryman. Here her first five children were born, Mary Jane Reeves Chappell, Elizabeth Georgia "George" Reeves, James Coleman Reeves, John Thomas Reeves, and William Henry Reeves. Then the Family moved to Polk County, Missouri where her last three daughters, Jennetta Reeves, Loretta Reeves, Nancy Belle Reeves Crum; were born. She moved with her husband to Carthage, Jasper, Missouri where he died in 1888. She then appears to have lived with her daughters Mary and Georgia and moved to Springfield with them. She died in 1907 at the home of her son James C. Reeves near Bolivar, Missouri. It is believed she is buried near most of her children in an unmarked grave in the Enon Cemetery.
