Lucille Davidson, 94, died on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Veterans Home in Fergus Falls, MN.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 11, 20ll at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Larry Mogen officiating. Casketbearers were Ron Skallet, Paul Magner, Terry Johnson and Jamie Eckert, Interment was held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.
Lucille Ruth Holler was born on October 25, 1916 in Pine City, MN, the daughter of Irvin and Elsie (Swanson) Holler, She attended school in Pine City and graduated at the top of her class. Following school she worked at the courthouse in Pine City and was an excellant secretary.
Lucille married Abner Johnson in June 1941 and they had four children, Bonnie, Jean, Barry and Ward. They moved to Thief River Falls, MN in 1952, Ab was in the tire busines most of his life and he died in 1981.
In August 1985 she married Richard Davidson, They lived in Florida and moved to Detroit Lakes, MN and he died in 1981.
Lucille was a Jehovah's Witness and knew the Bible very well. She loved the outdoors and went for many walks in the woods no matter what time of the year.
Lucille is survived by her children: Bonnie (Don) Magner of Thief River Falls, MN, Jean Caporaso of Issaquah, WA, Barry (Lynette) Johnson of Detroit Lakes, MN and Ward (Cindy) Johnson of Miami, FL; she has 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren,
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Abner and Richard; and 5 siblings.
