Pauline (Mason) Cacase, 83, of Rocky Hill, died peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Hartford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Bernard J. Cacase for 60 years. Born in Waterville, ME, she was raised in East Vassalboro, ME, and lived in Wethersfield for many years before recently moving to Rocky Hill. Mrs. Cacase retired from Aetna Life & Casualty as a Systems Analyst after more than 20 years of service. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves her three children, Brian Cacase and his wife, Diane, of Tiverton, RI, Sharon L. Cacase, of Brunswick, GA, and Craig Cacase and his wife, Deborah, of Newington; her seven grandchildren, James Cacase, Michael Cacase and his wife, Sheila, Andrea Cacase, Matthew Olson, Eric Olson and his wife, Terra, Taryn Kutniewski and her husband, Joseph, and Whitney Cacase; her great granddaughter, Janet Olson. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington with the Rev. Patricia Hames officiating. Interment will be in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Newington Memorial.
