Thomas W. Clark, Pioneer Citizen of County, Dies
_______________________________________________

Thomas Wesley Clark, 78, one of Warren County's pioneer residents died at his home at Oak Ridge Friday and funeral services were held from Fisher's Funeral Chapel Saturday afternoon with Rev. James F Campbell, pastor of Crawford Street Methodist Church officiating.

Mr. Clark, who was widely known thoughout the county had operated a little blacksmith shop for years and was known as the village 'Blackie.'

His death was from a protracted illness which kept him confined for the last few months.

Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Clark, three daughters, Mrs. J.H. Larsen, Pascagoula, Mrs. A T Turner of Vicksburg, Mrs. James Haver of Vicksburg and one son, Preston O'Connor.

Burial was in City Cemetery.
