Dabney Carr, Well-Known Breeder Dies Suddenly
Dabney Carr aged 79, for many years a well known breeder, trainer and racer of trotting horses in this county, died at his home at 414 North Limestone street last nignt at 6 o'clock. Mr. Carr, although ailing for some time, was not thought to have been in a serious condition and his death came as a shock to those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Miss Ophelia Carr, an instructor at Johnson School, and one sister, Mrs. C. F. Estill. The funeral services will be held at the residence Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock, burial in Lexington cemetery. The pallbearers will be W. J. Young, C. L. Darnaby, Dr. W. L. Elmore, E. L. Wickliffe, Frank Bissick, Henry R. Hutchison, J. C. Shorpshire and Barney Hall.

Dabney Carr, Well-Known Breeder Dies Suddenly
