ADAMS - Mrs. Leonard (Bertha M. Allen) Adams, 82, of Decatur died 10:15 a.m. Wednesday (Feb 3, 1988) in Americana Nursing Home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Graceland Star of Hope Chapel with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Arrangements by Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Services. Memorials: Alzheimer's Foundation.

Mrs. Adams was born in Illinois, daughter of Marion and Ida Allen. She was affiliated with Immanuel Southern Baptist Church. She married Leonard Adams in 1926. He died in 1986.

Surviving are her son, Leonard D. of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Mrs. Charles (Laverna) Faith of Decatur; Mrs. Joseph (Phyllis) Bell of South Bend, Ind.; sisters, Mary Simmons of Connors, Ga.; Helen Carter of California; Dorothy Young of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

One sister and one grandchild preceded her in death.
