In 1910 he lives in Wheeler County, Texas, just west of his brother Perry Jacob in Beckham County, Oklahoma.

In the Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana city directories he is listed as a painter in 1912, not listed in 1914 but listed as a Machine Hand at Swayne-Robinson in 1916.

Owned a store at 103 North 5th street in Richmond in the early 1920s. It was the Gem Coffee Parlor and then a cigar store. It was also his residence at that time.

In 1925 he is divorced. He works as a printer and lives with his daughter at 121 1/2 North 7th street. About 1930 he starts working at the Leland Hotel. The hotel opened in 1928 and is a historical landmark in Richmond.

William L. Seaney, 70 years old, died Friday morning at the Reid Memorial hospital after a brief illness. He resided at 405 South Twelfth street and was employed by the Leland hotel for 20 years.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lucille McCann of Toledo; three brothers, Pleasant and Leslie of Richmond and Perry of Erie (Actually Erick), Okla..
Funeral services for Mr. Seaney will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o,clock with Rev. Raymond Harris officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening.
