Mrs. Vergie (Virgie) Sapp
Services will be conducted for Mrs. Vergie Ellen Sapp, 73, of North Fourth Ave., at 2 p.m. Monday at Burnett's Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Oliver Langmade of the Grace Bible Church. Mrs. Sapp died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at her home. She was born July 22, 1892, to William and Marsha Nichols of Ashland. She married Bradford Sapp of Ashland in 1930 (married James Bradford Sapp, 23 Dec 1911 in Boone Co., Missouri. James Bradford Sapp died 06 Apr 1930 in Jefferson City, Cole Co., Missouri). They moved to Columbia in 1944 (?). Survivors include several nieces and Nephews. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery, Ashland. The body will be at Burnett's until the services.
