Albert "Dutch" Richmeier, 91, Hill City, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City. He was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Morland to John J. and Eva (Schreiner) Richmeier.

He married Janice Madden on March 1, 1949, in St. Peter. He was a farmer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Hill City; a son, Wayne Richmeier and wife, Lois, Morland; a daughter, Laura Malsam and husband, Doug, WaKeeney; a sister, Blanche Williams, Inman; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. There will be no wake or rosary service.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
