Martha Nell Barker, 85, of Paducah passed away Friday, October, 21, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Barker was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a lifetime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, a member of the VFW Auxiliary and formerly employed by CTS.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wallace Barker; one son, W. Edward Barker and wife Jeannie of Paducah; two daughters, Nancy Neel, of Wasilla Alaska, Susan Griggs, and her Husband Bill of Paducah; one brother Paul T. Beyer, of Paducah; nine grandchildren, Eddy Barker, Ashley Sjuts, Natalie Barker, William Barker, David Neel, Bradley Neel, Ryan Griggs, Clint Griggs, Clay Griggs, and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mable Harrall, Alma Overstreet, Dorothy McNeill, Willa Walters; one brother Noble Beyer; and her son in law David Neel. Her parents were William Thomas (W.T) and Ruby Lane Beyer.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday October 24, 2011 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Aaron Stamper officiating. Burial will follow at Beyer Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
